The Lab Experience

Now anyone can learn how to mix, muddle, and shake like the best in the business. The London Academy of Bartending - the original bartending school - that has trained bartenders for many of London's premier bars, is offering you the chance to step behind the bar.

The 'LAB Experience' is your opportunity to get an inside look at how the professionals shake up the best cocktails in town. The 'LAB Experience' is ideal for the home cocktail enthusiast looking for that professional touch to impress their friends, or as a perfect excuse for a few friends to learn how to mix great drinks - whilst having a few on the way!

The sessions are designed to be entertaining and informative, whilst providing a firsthand experience to what we behind the bar go through; the tasting of the drinks is not only instructive, but highly enjoyable!

An introduction to cocktails: with an introductory cocktail

This includes a brief talk on the history of cocktails, the classic cocktails that have stood the test of time, and birth of modern day cocktails.

A demonstration of how to mix cocktails:

This will include a rundown of the equipment utilized by the professionals, how to handle them, and the different techniques used to make different styles of cocktails. The skills behind 'balancing' a drink will also be explained in order to get you ready for making your own behind the bar.

Your turn:

Now it's your turn to use the knowledge you have been given - as well as a shot of inspiration - to get behind the bar and start creating your own drinks! With your own professional to guide you to making the perfect drink.

Each session is priced at £40 Per Person and usually last 2 hours
